Free Clinic Serving Wake and Surrounding Counties

The UNC School of Nursing Mobile Health Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Wake and surrounding counties.

The clinic provides free health assessments, education, and connection to community resources for people without health insurance and members of our community experiencing gaps in healthcare. The Clinic was conceived and established by Marianne Cockroft, Associate Professor Emerita at the UNC School of Nursing, with funds she gathered from community organizations. It is almost exclusively operated with the help of volunteers, including current and retired UNC nursing faculty, interprofessional students, and
